It’s time for our Annual Small Fruit Plant Sale! During January and February a selection of fruit trees and plants are available to order for planting in Burke County gardens this spring. Plant varieties are specifically chosen that do well in our area.

This year’s berry plants include strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, grapes and raspberries. Fruit trees include apples, plums, figs, persimmon, and peaches. We are also offering asparagus and rhubarb for 2024 as well as kiwi and Kousa dogwood trees.

All orders and payments must be received in our office by March 1, 2024. Order your plants early as quantities are limited. You can place your order by mail or in person at our office located at 130 Ammons Drive in Morganton. We accept cash or check payments only.

You can find detailed variety information, an order form and planting and care guides on our Small Fruit Plant Sale page. Plant pickup days will be March 20 & 21 and we offer curbside pickup! Along with your plants, you will receive planting and care guides for each type of plant ordered.

We invite you to order some of our plants and grow some fruits in your own backyard. When you pick that first handful of berries, you’ll be glad you did. If you have questions about the sale, don’t hesitate to call our office at 828-764-9480.
