What can 4-H offer you?

Youth ages 5-18 get to “Learn by Doing” and meet new friends that share your interests. You can participate in projects where you make something, develop a skill, raise and/or train an animal, join a virtual club with kids from anywhere in the world! There are numerous projects available to you, including foods, clothing, public speaking, models, aerospace, wood science, and livestock.Adults can participate in 4-H by volunteering to be a club leader, assistant, or help with specific 4-H activities or events.

First, contact our 4-H agent, Nicki Carpenter, by phone (828-764-9480); email (nicki_carpenter@ncsu.edu); or in person (130 Ammons Drive, Morganton, NC) to discuss your interest in 4-H and discover which opportunities suit you best.Second, get enrolled on 4-H Online 2.0. 4-H Online 2.0 is the online enrollment and registration system for North Carolina 4-H. This is where you enter family and individual information that is used by your county and the State 4-H Program to manage and record your participation in the 4-H Youth Development program.
