The Burke County Beekeepers Association’s is offering a two-day Introduction to Beekeeping Workshop on Saturday, February 1st and Saturday, February 8th. Classes will be held from 8:30am – 1:00pm each day at the Burke County Agricultural Building located at 130 Ammons Drive in Morganton.
The cost of the workshop is $50 payable by cash or check to the Burke County Beekeepers Association. The registration fee includes a one-year membership in the Burke County Beekeepers Association and the North Carolina State Beekeeper’s Association, and First Lessons in Beekeeping book. You will be assigned a mentor to help get you started in beekeeping and you will also gain the knowledge to become a certified beekeeper.
