Collapse ▲1. All exhibitors must be age 5-18 years as of January 1, 2024. (Ages 5-7 will not be judged)
2. All 4-Hers showing must be registered as an active Burke County 4-Her in the 4-H online system.
3. When an exhibitor has more than one animal entered in a class a junior must show the additional animal.
4. Exhibitors must have trained and fitted their animals.
5. Any changes to rules and regulations by show directors or judges are final.
6. All animals exhibited must meet NC health requirements. Exhibitors are responsible for obtaining health papers and should have them for inspection. All goats and sheep must be tagged and/or tattooed in accordance with the requirements of the NC Scrapie Eradication Program.
7. All show animals must be delivered and in place at the fairgrounds by 5:00 pm, Tuesday, August 19, 2025. 8. Notice: The Drexel Community Fair, its officers and directors shall not be responsible for any animal being exhibited at the fair, and the exhibitor shall hold the Drexel Community Fair blameless and indemnify them against any legal proceedings arising from any accident, injury, or illness to the animal(s) exhibited.
9. Completed Registration forms must be turned into N.C. Cooperative Extension staff prior to Monday, August 11, 2025.
10. N.C. Cooperative Extension and Drexel Community Fair reserve the right to cancel any show due to lack of entries.
