Burke-McDowell-Caldwell FSA Damage Reporting Information

**Please take lots of pictures of the damages and keep all damage and expense reports separate for each farm.**

Fencing Damage:
Length of fencing that was damaged or destroyed and what type (barbed wire, woven, electric), how many strands, and the age of the fence. Also note any creek crossings and water gaps that have been damaged or destroyed. Keep track of all supply, labor, and equipment costs for fixing fencing.

Debris in Fields:

How large (example: 4 tandem load dump trucks full) and what type of equipment will be needed to clear the debris. Keep track of all costs for equipment use and labor to clean up debris in fields.

Eroded Fields:

How big, depth, what type of equipment will be needed to fix the eroded field(s). What type of equipment will be needed to reshape the field(s). This includes sediment removal from grass land. Keep track of all costs for equipment and labor for grading/shaping of eroded fields.

Livestock Losses:
Beginning inventory (what was on hand before the hurricane) and how many were lost in the following weight ranges:

Beef and Dairy Cattle Producers:
Adult Bull
Adult Cows
Non-Adult Less Than 400 Pounds
Non-Adult 400-799 Pounds
Non-Adult 800 or More Pounds

Goat Producers:
Nannies
Bucks
Slaughter goats/kids

Sheep Producers:
Ewes
Rams
Lambs

If you are having to haul water, please keep up with the gallons hauled and the distance as we have the Emergency Livestock Assistance Program (ELAP). Also, under the ELAP program we can cover losses to hay and purchasing of additional feed.
