Hello, this is Nicki Carpenter, 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent
with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Burke Center.
Burke County 4-H will be offering a special “4-H Kid’s Night” at the Drexel
Fair on Saturday August 23 from 6 to 9Pm. We will be located down by the barn.
For a small donation, kids can enjoy face painting, temporary tattoos, hair tinsel,
cow fans, and taking their chances at dunking our volunteers in the dunking booth!
This will be tons of fun and kids can also meet our Burke County 4-H Teen
Leaders providing these activities! Your support allows our 4-H teens to experience
additional leadership, citizenship and life skill building with district and state
opportunities. So, come see us and support your local Burke County 4-H program
at the Drexel Fair on Saturday August 23 rd from 6-9pm down by the barn!
