Hello, this is Nicki Carpenter, 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Burke Center.

On Saturday May 18, from 8am to 1pm, Burke County 4-H will host our 4th annual 4-H Fundraiser Yard Sale. Thank you to all of our community 4-H supporters that have donated items to make this possible! AND, This is not just our 4-H yard sale; vendors, personal yard sale spaces and food trucks will fill our parking area for more treasure hunting! A few of our business vendors include Scentsy, quilt making, permanent jewelry, beaded pens, t-shirts, laser creations and goat snuggling! We also will have R & L Concessions and Brew 64 Coffee Co! Parents and caregivers: as a 4-H community service project, SAFE KIDS will be available at no costs and ALL of our leftover yard sale items will be donated to Foothills Thrift Store.  So, mark it down, Saturday May 18, 8am-1pm at the Burke Agricultural Building we will host our 4-H Fundraiser Yard sale. Follow signs off of Enola Road to the 4-H Yard Sale, Saturday May 18, 8am-1pm. No early shoppers, as vendors need time to set up. See you there, May 18 8am-1pm.
