Taylor Lynn joined the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Burke County Centeras our Family and Consumer Sciences Agent on January 2, 2026.

Taylor is a Burke County resident and has served as an educator in the county for the past five years. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Appalachian State University.

Through her role with N.C. Cooperative Extension, Taylor is excited to support individuals and families in Burke County by providing practical, research-based education focused on nutrition and health, food safety, financial wellness, and life skills that support everyday living.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with her 7-year-old son, hiking, baking, and creating art. She looks forward to building relationships and serving the Burke County community in this role.

Taylor has spent her first couple of weeks getting acquainted with our staff and completing her onboarding and some training.  We welcome Taylor to the Burke County Office and are excited to have her here!
