Today's Program is on Rosemary. Rosemary is a perennial herb that is grown for its fragrance and flavor enhancement in cooking. It's one of my favorite herbs and I grow it just for the smell. It also deters North Carolina’s most prosperous insect: The Mosquito. So if you need any reason to grow it. There it is. With a  mature height at around 5 feet, this plant can take up some space. Keep in mind that it can spread, so give it the room it needs to grow. It does best in Full sun and well draining, slightly acidic soil. It does not like wet feet and overwatering is the number one killer of Rosemary. It can also be planted for pollinators as it blooms tiny little bluish-purple flowers. Late spring and summer are the best times to propagate this Herb. It's super easy to care for and harvest. I hope you enjoy.
