This is Spring Williams-Byrd, County Extension Director with the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Burke County Center.

We are excited to announce we will begin taking orders for our Small Fruit Plant Sale beginning in December and running through February 2022!! We have lots of new varieties, not to mention those hometown favorites like Pink Lady apples and Premier blueberries.

In addition, we are running our Holiday Special on #ExtensionEats Cookbooks! Our holiday special is two cookbooks for only $15 and the checks can be made payable to Burke County 4-H. Included in the cookbook is more the 35 pages of tips and techniques from basic cooking skills to adjusting recipes to fit your needs. We have also included information on cuts of meats, to using fresh grown herbs.

Finally, as a special treat, we have Farmers Almanac Calendars available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Just stop by our office to pick one up.
