Nick Thompson, Summer Intern

Hello this is Nick Thompson, Summer Intern with North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Burke Center.

Burke County 4-H summer fun activities have started. We are offering hybrid Pop-Up opportunities throughout the summer. Be sure to keep up to date with us on Eventbrite and our webpage for the latest announcements on Summer Fun.

Registration is now available for “Just Grow It”, a 9-week hybrid workshop to explore plant science with weekly kits. Soon you can look forward to other workshops such as “Food Around the World”, a virtual 5-day cook-along, with provided kits, to explore foods from 5 different countries. More information on upcoming events can be found on our website. You can also request to be added to the 4-H email list to receive updates on workshops as they are offered.
