Hello, this is Nicki Carpenter, 4-H Youth Development Extension
Agent with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Burke Center.

Hello Burke County families! It is about that time of year that
families begin planning for summer activities for the kids. If you have
youth ages 8-14 and like adventure, 4-H Summer Camp is the way to go.
Burke County 4-H will travel to Columbia, NC and stay a full week at the
4-H Eastern Conference Center Camp. This “screen-free” week will
consist of swimming, teambuilding, archery, making new friends,
kayaking in the sound, crabbing, climbing wall, group sports, talent show,
family style dining hall meals, dancing, campfires, bunk style cabins,
camp songs and lots of laughter. We will attend camp June 15-20 th . Camp
costs cover transportation, lodging, meals, store snacks and camp T-shirt.
There are limited spaces, so call soon to reserve your spot!
