4-H Agent Adventures (Click Title to Register)
Available June 14–August 20, 2021
4-H summer activities are one of my favorite times of the year. Transitioning from virtual to hybrid to face-to-face, we are missing some of those memorable experiences together. This year I wanted to offer a way we can still explore 4-H together, but in a different way! The Burke County 4-H Agent Adventures program is designed from the concept of the Flat Stanley Series and Flat Teacher experiences. Registered youth (ages 5-18) will receive an Agent Adventures Packet with instructions, welcome letter, printed agent bitmoji figures, games, and activities that support a strong literacy component. Youth will be encouraged to read, write and communicate (without knowing we are encouraging learning)! To interact together, youth will be able to share their Agent Adventures with me through online and offline resources. Families can encourage youth to “think outside the box”, share their adventures, and to be active! Please contact me if you have any questions or need more information. 828-764-9480
