Upcoming Lawn Workshop – RESCHEDULED

— Written By and last updated by

It’s time to start getting the lawn back into shape for the winter. Lots of things can be done in the fall to ensure a nice looking lawn for the spring. It’s actually one of the best times to kill weeds, fertilize and replant an existing lawn, or sow a new lawn.

For all those homeowners who would like to understand the mysteries of the home lawn, you’re in luck. N.C. Cooperative Extension of Burke County will be presenting a workshop dealing with everything the homeowner needs to know about turfgrass. Proper planting times, preparing the soil, seed types, irrigation and fertilizer are just some of the topics that will be covered. Step by step guidelines will be covered with plenty of time for homeowner questions also.

This workshop will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Morganton Ace Hardware at 10:00 a.m.

Come and join us for a morning of lawn care. The lawn frames the house and without a nice lawn, nothing else matters. Take the guesswork out of your next lawn project. Find the solutions to your lawn problems and learn how to be the master of your lawn-not a slave to indecision.
