Fall Is for Planting

— Written By and last updated by

Fall gardening can be a delight. It’s wonderful to be able to work outside without enduring miserable temperatures and hords of insects. Whether your interests are vegetables, flowers or shrubs the fall can become a favorite planting season.

If you would like to know more about fall planting, you might enjoy our upcoming workshop, “Fall Is For Planting” that will take place on Thursday, September 10 here at the Extension office. This free program begins at 6:00 p.m. If you would like to attend, please give us a call at 764-9480 to register.

It’s a great way to end the growing season and you might even start making plans for next spring while you’re at it!
