The Extension & Community Association (ECA) is a partner with N.C. Cooperative Extension. The purpose of NCECA is to empower individuals and families to improve their quality of living through continuing education, leadership development and community service. Members volunteer their time, skills and energy to strengthen families in their communities through organized clubs.

Burke County Extension Homemakers is known as a group of creative, energetic, contributing people who are interested in extending their knowledge and experiences and making invaluable contributions to the community.
