Your weight loss and weight management success depends on your readiness to take on a challenge.  Are you motivated to make long-term lifestyle changes that require eating appropriate portion sizes of healthy foods and being physically active? Now is the time to take action with Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less.

This program will teach you the skills needed to change your eating and physical activity patterns. Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less will equip and motivate you to live mindfully. You will plan for success and track your progress. Support from the instructor and others participating in the program will encourage you as you move toward your healthy-weight goal.

Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less is a 15-week weight-management program that uses strategies proven to work. You will choose one strategy to work on each week that will help you adopt behavior changes to help you eat smart and move more. “Move More” three-five minute breaks are incorporated into each lesson to allow you to experience the positive feelings of just moving more.

N.C. Cooperative Extension will offer weekly classes for Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less beginning Monday, February 11th from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Mull’s Grove Baptist Church in the Salem area. Weigh-in begins at 5:00 p.m. Week one is an orientation/introduction session. The enrollment fee of $20 is payable by week two.
